Yes, it is great to be able to proceed abroad for a full 3-4 years of study abroad in the US or UK or Australia, immediately after A Levels or Intermediate. But what about cost...?

Generally, a year of study in the UK or US at a good university will cost around a minimum of Rs.10 lacs or more excluding airfares. Multiply this by 3 or 4 years, and that's a lot of money and sacrifice for a lot of parents in Pakistan. Not to mention the hassles of visas, and various other formalities and issues.
