Kingston University in London awards Scholarship 2008 to MDi StudentMuhammad Waqas Tiwana, a second year student at MDi Pakistan, has received an undergraduate scholarship at Kingston University, London. Waqas will leave for Kingston University in September 2008 and he will pursue the final year of his B.Sc. in Management. Waqas is amongst 17 short-listed prospects at Kingston University out of an applicant pool of 8,000 students to have received this prestigious award. Waqas has been an excellent student at MDi Pakistan. He is a member of social organizations such as iEARN, Youth Action for Pakistan, ALiVE Pakistan, Global Youth Action Network, Youth Pakistan, ADP and Centre for Youth Development & Activities and many more. He has always been an active sportsman and a good team player. Furthermore, Waqas has recently been awarded the Best Business Plan Award by Musharraf Hai, Consumer Business Manager – Citibank and previously Chairperson Unilever Pakistan, at The Young Leader’s Conference 2008. Waqas plans on becoming a successful businessman while staying continuously involved in social work. The staff and faculty at MDi are proud of him and wish him all the best for his future. |
